// FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this bot free?

Yes, completely free. The bot runs on an independent server and never asks for payment.

Does the bot need administrator permissions?

No. It only needs View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Use Application Commands. Principle of least privilege.

Why don't the slash commands show up?

After inviting, Discord can take up to an hour to propagate global commands to all servers. Try typing / and look for the commands under the bot's name.

Does the bot read our messages?

No. The bot doesn't request Read Message Content and never reads conversations. It only posts notifications to subscribed channels.

How do I stop the notifications?

Type /unsubscribe-bounty in the subscribed channel. The bot immediately stops posting there.
